The Rock Valley R/C
Flyers Club Flying Field is located at 3352
Harrison Road, Rockford, IL, just west of
Rockford.
The Field is part of the Rockford Park District
and the Club maintains a close relationship with
the Park District to insure that field
maintenance and upgrades are the best available.
The Harrison Road Facility is a well maintained
Flying Field surrounded by farm land. A major
benefit is large east-west and north-south
unobstructed (no trees or houses) runways. Other
excellent amenities include a covered shelter,
ample parking for Flyers and spectators, a clean
portable restroom, and pit area fencing for
safety.
Whether Members come out for an hour or the
whole day, the Field is equipped for a great
experience.
