The Rock Valley
R/C Flyers Club is an AMA Bronze Leader Club.
The Rock Valley R/C
Flyers Club was organized in 1972 to promote the
building and flying of radio controlled model
aircraft. The Club is chartered by the Academy
of Model Aeronautics (AMA), Charter Club 828 and
by the International Miniature Aircraft
Association (IMAA), Chapter 662.
Since the original Club Charter was issued Club
Members have worked closely with the Rockford
Park District to secure responsible members and
maintain an excellent flying facility located on
Harrison Road in Rockford, IL.
The Rock Valley R/C Flyers Club promotes the
hobby/sport of RC flying via monthly meetings,
Club events, and training sessions aimed at
interested individuals.
